FROM ACADEMIC STRUGGLES TO SCHOLARLY TRIUMPH.
This story is set in Kibabii University. It explains the educational journey of many students who join campus for the fun and adventures campus life brings. In the end many fail to redeem themselves, others, like my character, face reality and and work hard until the end despite having a bad start.

In the story, our character is happy to join the institution of higher learning. She indulges herself to parties and hardly pays attention in classes as she is always on her phone. When the results of the first examination come out, she is discouraged by her failure. Despite this, she picks her head up, and decides to study and leave her party life which pays off at the end when she succeeds.

I chose this story because it is close to home. When I was still a freshman, I paid no seriousness to my studies. I attended countless parties and failed in most assessments. I took a turn around, a week before the main examination, I put in a lot of effort to study and when the results came in I was delighted. This story is to serve as an encouragement to my colleagues, that they are not too far gone and can always redeem themselves before it's too late.
